Marks is a global Brand Design and Experience Agency. Marks creates work for several well known brands (Unilever, GSK etc). I work predominately on the Lego account, the leading toy manufacturer in the world, where I create the packaging for Disney, Duplo and Gabby’s Dollhouse. Lego has 33 franchises and Marks works on 8 (100 packs for 2024). Day to day tasks involve researching the franchise. Story telling with the Lego product, using photography to provide initial vision for packs before CGI images. Creating detailed backgrounds within the box die-cuts (Pixels for Disney, vector for Duplo & Gabby’s) for illustrators to enhance and making character positioning refinements within Maya.

This national charity is split into two brands: Local Air Ambulance service delivers lifesaving care at the scene of an incident, serving five counties. Children’s Air Ambulance transfers critically ill babies and children, from one hospital to another for specialist care. Working with all departments: Operations, Retail, Fundraising, Re-use and Volunteering design requests were print and digital, these developed the brands corporate identity. Because they receive no government funding their goal is to expand their visual presence to initiate income. I branded 2 new superstores, these are just 2 of the 55 shops trading and requiring point of sale materials.

THE MYTON HOSPICES
March 2018 to July 2021 - as a Graphic Designer (Marketing and Communications Department)
Producing visual marketing materials. I designed work for all aspects of the hospice - retail, events, corporate, volunteering, community, lottery, clinical, catering, learning and development. The main focus was to raise awareness of Myton, to increase income, to allow treatment for patients earlier on in their illness. Working closely with the Marketing Manager we developed Myton’s marketing from Admission packs to website visuals. Myton needs to raise £7.8 million a year to provide clinical services free of charge. 25 shops and an annual calendar of events meant time management was crucial.
